2007 Euro Games Retreat (ideas and proposals)
As usual, I had a massive list of Essen pre-orders, with the only conspicuous absence being AOS stuff (guess you have all the AOS stuff already from last year?)...

Here are some of the pre-orders fyi:

- Caylus Premium (at EUR65 a piece, you guys are cuckoo!).

- QMG Master Print Edition: set of 4 games (only EUR100 by contast) - Leonardo da Vinci, Yspahan, El Capitan and Demetra.

- Neuroshima Hex.

- Through the Ages (again).

- Galaxy Trucker.

- Bang! The Bullet!.

- Antler Island.

- Talisman.

- Army of Frogs.

- Mr Jack XP.

- Cash & Guns: Yakuzas.

- Auf Achse.

- Brass.

- Mordred.

- Beppe der Bock.

- Napolean's Truimph.

- Tichu.

- & tons of meeples in different colors for the opening of one of our retailers new cafe in KK!

Unfortunately, I could not fulfill one pre-order for AOS NY/Iraq as Winsome Games left for home due to unforseen circumstances after 12noon on the first day, so by the time I got to their booth, it was empty!
PM the quotation for Bang the Bullet, Mr Jack XP
and Caylus Premium just in case you have any extra sets leftover

My original had quite good components, but I think the cards should be bigger: standard-sized linen - feel cards would be good.

The only reason we haven't announced the dates is because our preferred venue, Awana Golf & Country Club, is not available for the first two weekends of November.

After endless pleading, they now tell me they can possibly accommodate us on 24-25 November, and will confirm by today (Wednesday).

I'm keeping my fingers crossed as this venue is superb in terms of tea breaks, lunch, dinner, and the night gaming atmosphere - literally in the clouds!

Last year, we did it for Rm200 nett, everything in, including twin share. So far, they have not quoted me anything less than Rm200, so I guess its going to cost more. BUT, its still far cheaper than the quotes I'm getting from Avillion (PD), Shangri-La (Putrajaya) and Equatorial (Cyberjaya).

Also, for those who want to gamble at the casino, its nearby (though I fail to see why someone would need to go there with the number of gambling games available!).

Will post another update tomorrow!

Need...more A.S.H. (Available, Single and Hot) girls. Ayheng, bring your girlfriend's friends. [6]

For 7:30pm onwards freetime, I suggest the following programme:

8:00pm: After dinner.... TI3.
12:00am: Visit Uncle Lim, check up on him.
1:00am: Go casino. Try to get uncles to play Gang of Four.
3:00am: Go play play at indoor theme park.
4:00am: Supper at mamak.
5:00am: Tidor.
8:00am: Start programme for 2nd day.
