Weekly Games Column in NST Now On Saturdays!
« on: July 15, 2007, 02:24:30 pm »
After a couple of months break, and restructuring of NST's editorial section, I'm writing their weekly games column once again (called ::Think::) as part of the "6" weekend pullout in the Saturday edition.

The theme based articles ("Top 5 games ...") should be a lot of fun and includes a different way to look at the games we play:

eg. Top 5 games:

- For people with shaky hands,

- You gambling grandma woudl love,

- To attract girls,

etc.

Let me know if you have any crazy angles!

Meanwhile, the first article was published yesterday, with Ryan and the Malaysian flag competing in Essen!

For those who missed th article:

Enjoy!

is this going to be like really a weekly thing or is it going to be fortnightly? I'll buy a copy of the newspaper next week to check it out.

top 5 games that would take up (at least) 6 hours of your saturday in one session.
top 5 games that can be explained in 1 minute flat.
top 5 games that can be played at lightning speed once you mastered the basic
top 5 anti-AP games (to use to psycho gamers like me)
top 5 AP games
......(still looking for more)

Dunno why they call it Cards & Boards when it should really be "Cards, cards, cards, cards and perhaps a Board"

Those days you have more cards than boardgames, so it no wonder that he calls his column Cards & Boards. Nowadays he still review more cards than boards. Maybe uncle Ed should lend him review copies and force him to play with uncle Ed so that he can review more Boards.
